We just got back from a kick ass week up at Woodward Tahoe @ Boreal. Academy Pro, Chad Tarbell was guest coaching along with Marc Frank Montoya and Andrew Brewer. Everyday was stuffed full of awesomeness and summer shredding was only part of the radness. After shredding on our very own private snowboard park til 2:00 in the afternoon thanks to Eric Rosenwald and the legendary Lane Knack.We would move into the “Bunker” otherwise known as ” THE FORTRESS OF FUN”, and skate the sickest skate park in Tahoe and bounce on the trampolines til we could no longer walk straight. We also had relay races and obstacle courses set up inside to win Academy t-shirts and prizes.
Other highlights included, the funnest kickball game ever with MFM as the pitcher, cherry pie eating contest with no hands, water balloon fights, watching Marco absolutely destroy the miniramp on a some kids’ skateboard that he never rode before. And last but not least, the on snow contest, with camper Chase winning a brand new Academy snowboard! Yeah Chase!
We all had so much fun and didn’t want to leave. Already counting down the
days for next year’s summer camp.
