We just back from the most amazing TRIP at the Sierra Nevada World Music Festival in Northern California! 30 reggae bands, camping in the hills, awesome organic food, beautiful weather, girls, positive vibrations and all-day soccer games and hacky sack,(Think T&C Surf Design Nintendo game without the surf…See photo attached.) The setting couldn’t be more perfect with Northern California’s finest trees set as the backdrop for our Academy Tent/Booth as we faced the main stage for entertainment. Life couldn’t get better. Jah Blessed! We met so many cool people and couldn’t believe how many shredders were at the event. We met riders that came all the way from Alaska and Colorado to enjoy the great vibes and music at this world class event. We will definitely be back next year with a bigger tent to accommodate even more high-five’s and knuckle bumps for all the Academy supporters out there! Make sure to follow our blog/facebook and we will keep you posted with dates for next years music festival.

Academy base camp for the Sierra Nevada World Music Festival. Summer, Shreds and music!

Our tent sat front row which gave us the best seats in the house.

The band, House of Shem, in front of Academy tent. We were so blessed as the artist press tent was right
next to ours so all of the bredren kicked it at the Academy tent.

The festival brought people together and they all sought shade at the Academy booth. We offered them all
high fives and or knuckle bumps.

The main stage was packed all day and night with performances and good vibrations.

This photo is us taking a break from showing the new 2012 Academy line to play a little soccer with the
mini dreads. Stoked on the future generation!

Best seat in the house.

Despite the hot weather, people are still excited about the coming winter.

Luckily, it would cool down every night so we could relax and enjoy the show.
