Why snowboarding is so much: I think snowboarding is so much fun because it is a great way to show your creativity and really express yourself. When I’m out snowboarding with my friends, I’m not worried about any of the current problems I’m going through and I feel like I’m in a different world. Not only is snowboarding healthy for your body and is a great way to stay in shape but I believe the sport is even more healthy for your mind. I forget about all my dilemmas and nothing else really matters for those hours spent on the mountain except good times. I also love how you can push yourself and progress without rules and regulations tying you down. You don’t get that with team sports and I love how I get a sense of gratification after I land a trick I was scared to try or fell on a lot. Progression is one of the best feelings in my opinion and I try to push myself every time I go out to the mountains. To me snowboarding is a lot more than just a sport and has a lot of qualities that make it so much fun. Self expression, gratification, style and progression all make it fun!
